Incorporated in 2003 Carrick Johnson Management Services Limited, a family-run business is based in Torquay, Devon and solely specialise in the management of leasehold blocks of flats and housing estate communal areas.
We strive to give good clear communication to Clients, support them with up-to-date information from The Property Institute (TPI) and helping the Clients to make sure their development is looked after, is safe and is compliant with appropriate legislation and regulations.
Our clients old and new continue to select CJMS to help them look after their development and regularly feedback the positive, friendly yet professional way in which we carry out or work even through the difficult times.
Our Block Management Services include:
- Company Secretarial duties including arranging and attending AGM’s and taking Minutes
- Maintenance co-ordination (i.e. cleaners, gardeners, general maintenance and decorations)
- Day to day bookkeeping, collection of service charges and ground rent (as applicable) budgeting, receive and pay contractor invoices from Client funds
- Routine site visits
- Arrangement and management of contractors for repairs
- Arranging insurances (via insurance brokers)
